Of those who own a sex toy, three quarters (76%) of men have used a sex toy to pleasure their partner compared with only 22% of women when they’re in a relationship. Although lots of couples are experimenting with toys, it seems that it’s usually the girls who are getting to have all the fun. Trying out a male masturbation toy as well as women’s sex toys in the bedroom could switch things up and add another dimension to a couple’s sex life!

The study of 2,000 Brits conducted by TENGA also found that openness about the ‘M’ word in relationships is a growing trend.
The study found that when it comes to sex in relationships, it turns out that lots of people also enjoy showing their significant other how they have fun by themselves.
Over half (51%) of UK adults who masturbate and are in a relationship say they have masturbated with their partner present, reveals the TENGA study of British adults.

TENGA, the sexual pleasure brand, conducted a study of 2,000 UK adults that found that openness about the ‘M’ word in relationships is a growing trend.
A quarter 25% of millennials (18-34s) are talk openly about masturbation at least once a month with friends or partners, compared to only three per cent of baby boomers (over 55s).
Nearly half of millennials 45% say they are comfortable talking openly about masturbation compared with just 28% or Gen X-ers and 20% of baby boomers respectively. And this generation gap is reflected in masturbation habits and attitudes as well.
Half of Brits in a relationship (50%) feel comfortable talking openly about masturbation with their partner. Two thirds (67%) of millennials are happy talking to their partner about their masturbation habits, compared with only 37% of baby boomers. A desire to be open about the ‘M’ word in relationships is a growing trend, as a fifth of couples (22%) want to be more open about their masturbation habits with their partner.
